Growth has a rhythm you feel before you see it in the numbers. It shows up when talented people ask to join your team, when clients return with fresh ideas, and when project launches bring in those 5.0-star reviews. That’s the moment you know it’s all worth it.
Between the code, the system overhauls, the cross-timezone brainstorms, and the pixel-perfect designs, 2025 kept us busy.
And we’re happy to share our year’s achievements with you. Let’s dive in!

Key achievements and partnerships of 2025
Every company has its metrics for success. But for us, the most meaningful achievements come from what our clients say, how we grow, and where our work takes us. This past year, we didn’t aim for loud headlines. Our focus was on consistently doing great work. And that quiet dedication brought some pretty great results.
Our achievements
While Ruby on Rails development services have always been our backbone, and requests for legacy system upgrades kept coming steadily, something shifted this year. Our UI/UX design team saw a surge in demand. Brands wanted experiences that felt as good as they worked and systems that looked as polished as they performed.
That shift showed up clearly in our Clutch rankings, where we earned recognition across multiple categories:
- Top user experience company in retail
- Top digital design company
- Top Ruby on Rails developer
- Top staff augmentation company

Apart from the badges, we received 10 new verified 5.0-star reviews from clients who highlighted more than just on-time delivery. Our team was called out for attentiveness to details, proactive problem-solving, and the kind of partnership that makes complex projects feel manageable.
We’re deeply grateful to every client who took the time to share their experience. These reviews are genuine reflections of collaboration built on trust and results that went beyond what was expected.

Portfolio highlights
Over on DesignRush, our profile saw major momentum with 12 fresh reviews, each one reinforcing what we’ve worked hard to build: a reputation for design that doesn’t just look good in mockups but thrives in the real world.
Another milestone was our portfolio refresh.
We finally launched on Dribbble and Behance with updated case studies and projects that showcase what we’ve built and how we think. It’s a snapshot of our evolution, from solid execution to creative excellence.
As for the portfolio on our website, this year was rich in new projects built, improved, and supported by our development team.
The brightest of them are:
Cryptocurrency tax software. A leading crypto tax reporting platform used in over 20 countries. We supported 800+ integrations, improved data accuracy by 20%, and reduced user drop-off by 25%.

Dental operations platform. A U.S.-based system for managing dental compliance and workflows. We fixed critical bugs, redesigned the entire UI/UX, and improved usability across all user roles.

Macadamia sales market. A global trading platform for macadamia nuts. We improved scalability, added support for multiple nut types, and introduced bidding features and company roles.

Normec Foodcare. A food safety and quality assurance platform in the Netherlands. We refactored legacy code, built a new Specification Manager tool, and modernized infrastructure.

From tax platforms to food safety systems, each project brought unique challenges and opportunities to make a real impact.
Main events & partnerships
There’s something irreplaceable about face-to-face conversations. The kind where an offhand comment sparks a new idea, or a coffee break turns into a partnership discussion that lasts for hours.
In September 2025, our VP of Business Development, Pavel, took a 9-city U.S. tour, blending major tech events with spontaneous, meaningful encounters. From the Frontier Tech Forum in San Mateo to the Seattle Ruby Meetup, the trip was as much about people as it was about technology.
Thus, at Frontier Tech, Pavel connected with Tim Draper, the legendary investor behind Tesla and SpaceX, an inspiring, forward-looking conversation that energized our entire team.
In Seattle, he met Aaron Patterson, one of Ruby’s most influential voices. Their deep technical exchange reminded us why we love what we do.

But what truly stood out were the many warm, sharp, and collaborative people met along the way, the kind who make great projects (and companies) possible.
Projects & clients
Our clients are more than just business partners. They’re co-authors in the story we’re writing together. Each project we build is a shared journey, and even after the release, we don’t just close the book. We stay connected, cheer for their wins, and take pride in every milestone they achieve.
Let’s take a look at the new chapters we helped write in 2025.
New launches & returning partners
This year brought four fresh projects built from the ground up: a merch store, a platform for a meteorology company, and a real estate platform. Each one started as an idea and evolved into a fully functioning system through close collaboration and careful execution.
Just as meaningful were the clients who came back!
Around 10% of our projects this year came from past leads returning with new work. It’s a signal that the relationship doesn’t end when the code ships. Companies like Airswift trusted us again with new challenges, proof that doing solid work the first time builds lasting partnerships.

Client wins that made us proud
When our clients succeed, we feel it. This year, several of them achieved milestones worth celebrating:
- Zeitview was named a finalist at the Utility Week Awards 2025 for the Unlocking Data Award. Their work is transforming how utilities manage critical infrastructure, turning episodic inspections into a living, multi-modal dataset that powers predictive, risk-informed decision-making.
- Donor Sibling Registry hit a major milestone: 100,880 members and 25 years in operation. They also gained significant media attention when they were featured in GQ Magazine in a story exploring fertility and reproductive health.
- BOSS Solutions earned 2025 “Best of” recognition across multiple categories by Gartner Digital Markets, including FrontRunner status for Help Desk and IT Asset Management and Best Customer Support for Online Help Desk Software. Their platform continues to lead the industry with a 4.5-star verified user rating.
- PAR Technology was awarded the Global Tech Award, recognized for innovation, creativity, and excellence in technology solutions that serve the restaurant and retail industries worldwide.
- Airswift was recognized as a “Market Leader” in Ardent Partners’ 2025 MSP Solution Advisor Report, affirming their position as a top-tier workforce solutions provider in the global energy and infrastructure sectors.
From utility innovation to family connection platforms, from restaurant tech to workforce management, our clients are doing work that matters, and we’re proud to be part of their journey.
Industries leading the way
Real estate and fintech dominated demand the previous year.
Though, we also strongly grew in food safety, maritime travel, and workforce solutions. Projects like Sail Croatia and Normec Foodcare brought unique challenges like scalability for seasonal tourism and compliance and quality assurance in the food industry, and each one pushed us to deliver solutions tailored to complex, real-world needs.
New markets & services in 2025
While our developers were deep in code and launching ambitious new platforms, the rest of the company was busy opening doors we hadn’t even knocked on before.
From entering new industries to expanding our global reach and refining our services, 2025 was a year of strategic growth and confident exploration, building on what we do best and doing it in more places than ever.
New countries
This year, we extended our reach and started collaborations in four new countries:

Each new country brought its own culture, digital challenges, and expectations, which, honestly, is our favorite kind of puzzle.
New industries
This year, we entered several new domains, each with its own complexity, regulations, and space for digital transformation:
- Dentistry. It’s a highly specialized industry where patient care, compliance, and operational efficiency must work in sync.
- Healthcare. A broad and ever-evolving field that demands secure, user-friendly solutions for managing sensitive data, streamlining communication, and supporting daily medical operations.
- Meteorology. A data-heavy industry focused on environmental monitoring and forecasting. Systems must be built to handle large volumes of sensor data, ensure real-time accuracy, and support long-term trend analysis.
- Food quality & compliance. This sector revolves around ensuring safety across the food supply chain, requiring robust systems for documentation, testing, reporting, and meeting strict regional and international standards.
Services clients wanted most
We mentioned earlier that UI/UX requests surged this year, but that’s only a part of the story. Here are the services that were in high demand during 2025:
Ruby on Rails development
RoR continued to be our bread and butter in 2025. Legacy systems still need care, and new projects continue to benefit from Rails’ balance of speed, stability, and developer happiness.
However, as every RoR system needs regular code reviews, we realized it was time to offer Code audit service separately, which was driven by growing client interest and consistent need.
React Native development
React Native picked up momentum as more clients realized they could reach both iOS and Android users without doubling their development budget or timeline.
Front-end development
Front-end ReactJS services remained consistently in demand. After all, users judge a product by its interface long before they see the code.
AI Integration
AI finally crossed the line from fascinating to functional. Whether automating repetitive tasks, extracting insights from data, or building intelligent features into their products, clients asked for AI integration that delivered real value.
UI/UX design
The UI/UX design service grew rapidly in 2025.
Companies finally seem to understand that a really good interface needs more than just beautiful buttons and animations. It should accomplish the user’s goals by guiding them rightly and making every interaction intuitive.
As we saw a trend from project owners requesting reviews of their designs to understand why they had low conversions, why users were leaving their apps, and what to fix to build better-functioning websites, we also introduced a UI/UX audit service.
And the first thing we did was conduct a UI/UX audit of our own website. We’ve been rewriting it from Gatsby.js to vanilla technologies for over a year now, aiming for better SEO performance and faster load times.
At the same time, we’ve been improving our designs, content, and navigation to create a clearer, more engaging experience. Every detail, from visual hierarchy to micro-interactions, is designed to guide users naturally and keep them exploring.

Team & culture
Our greatest pride and perhaps our most valuable asset isn’t found in our tech stack or our portfolio. It’s in the people who make up our company.
Kind, genuine, sharp, and deeply professional, our team members support one another, share knowledge freely, and build projects that truly shine. It’s these people, and the respect we show them, that make our company somewhere others want to join.
Team growth:
- In 2025, our team grew by 17%, making us stronger and more diverse than ever.
The development team saw the most expansion, with 15 new developers joining us throughout the year, each bringing fresh perspectives and expertise.

- Demand for outsourcing and outstaffing services grew by about 10–15%, with clients increasingly recognizing the value of flexible, skilled teams who can step in and deliver without the overhead of traditional hiring.
Culture that connects
We put real effort into creating moments that bring people together, not just for teamwork, but to build real friendships. We care about work-life balance and create an environment where people enjoy coming back every day.
So, as in previous years, we had several big corporate parties like:
- We hosted our traditional summer and winter parties, full of laughter, music, and memories.
- Celebrated Programmer’s Day and Halloween, complete with costumes, contests, and cake.
- Held regular team-building events to keep our bonds strong, even in a hybrid environment.
One of our most meaningful traditions is No Shave November, an internal charity initiative where team members grow beards (or cheer from the sidelines) to raise awareness and collect donations. At the end of the month, we proudly donate the funds to a charitable cause.
We’re growing not just in numbers, but in spirit, solidarity, and shared purpose.
And that’s what makes Rubyroid Labs a company people want to be part of and stay with.
Our roadmap for 2026
What’s next for Rubyroid Labs in 2026?
Our top priority remains unchanged: preserving our brand, reputation, and the exceptional quality of our work. With the right people on board, and we truly believe we have them, everything else becomes possible.
Based on client requests and market signals, here’s where we’re focusing our efforts this year:
- Mobile development. We’re expanding into cross-platform app development with React Native services to meet the growing demand for mobile-first solutions.
- Technology focus. We’ll continue strengthening our core stack:
-Ruby on Rails for backend excellence
-React for modern front-end experiences
-AI integrations to bring smart capabilities into products
-Golang for performance-driven solutions
-UI/UX Design to ensure systems are intuitive and user-friendly
- Quality at scale. As we grow, we’re committed to scaling responsibly, keeping our delivery sharp and our culture strong.
- Client success & innovation. We’ll keep pushing for smart, effective solutions that help our clients succeed and stand out.
We’re entering 2026 with a clear vision, a strong team, and a simple principle: grow with purpose, build with care.
Summing up
2025 kept us busy in the best possible way: real products shipped, real partnerships strengthened, and plenty of “okay, this is getting interesting” moments in between.
We grew the team by 17%, collected more 5.0 reviews, expanded our footprint into new countries, and doubled down on what clients asked for.
However, the part that matters most, though, isn’t the badges or the numbers. It’s seeing our clients win in public: awards, industry recognition, platform growth, and milestones they’re proud to share because behind each of those headlines is a lot of steady work done right, side by side.
That’s the thread running through our year: careful execution, honest communication, and teams that don’t disappear the moment something gets complicated.
Now we’re stepping into 2026 with new goals and a clear focus: keep quality high while we scale, keep building systems that feel good to use, and keep being the kind of partner you can actually rely on.
If you’re looking for a strong, professional team to design, build, or untangle a product, you already know where to find us.
