Rubyroid Labs is glad to announce that it will become the official sponsor of OSTIS 2016 – Belarus IT Student Conference that will take place in Minsk February 18-20. Learn more about it inside.
OSTIS stands for Open Semantic Technologies for Intelligent Systems and attracts hundreds of students from various Belarus IT Universities. It has a long tradition of knowledge exchange – this is the 5th time this conference is help in Minsk. Rubyroid Labs Team sees sponsoring IT events in Belarus as a great opportunity to support IT education and encourage more students to connect their lives with IT industry.
The event includes a variety of 30 – 15 – 5 min lectures as well as round sessions and exhibition reports. The working languages of the conference are Russian, Belarusian and English. The main topics covered in the conference will be:
- Principles of the semantic knowledge and their unification
- Knowledge typology and peculiarities of different types of semantic knowledge and metaknowledge
- Knowledge connections and relations to multiple knowledge
